Biography

Connie Sue Beaman

Born in Rogers, Arkansas and learned to play guitar by watching her father play bluegrass and country music with his band called the “Scrap Iron Bluegrass Band”.

•Member of Nashville Songwriters Association International 1987-1989
•Organized Songwriters Workshops for RENEW classes sponsored by Rogers Arkansas Chamber of Commerce 1988-1989
•Performed live on KSOZ Radio at School of the Ozarks, Branson, MO. and KURM Radio in Rogers, AR.
•Started NW Arkansas Songwriters Association in 1988, group meets once a month at the Jones Center in Springdale, AR.
•Organized live music for NWA Craft Fair Association, Bentonville, AR. 1992.
