Steve Adams

Here is an artist I can listen to all day with his soothing acoustics and vocals!! He has quite a collection of original music posted here on EZfolk (too many wonderful songs to list here but I highly recommend listening to them all!!). He too has become an icon here on EZfolk and really takes the time to listen to other artists and make them welcome here.

Thank you Steve for the honor of this interview! I know many appreciate and share the same admiration of your music as I have.

Holley: What is your music background Steve?

Steve: I began learning to play fingerstyle acoustic guitar at about age 16/17, that was my first real attempt at making music, and started writing my own material in the 1970s. I've played electric guitar and even tried putting a band together at one time, but that didn't work out and I returned to my beloved acoustic, continuing to write.

Holley: Do you prefer to play music as a profession or a hobby?

Steve: For me music is music. If I could earn a living from it I would, but I enjoy making music and get a lot of personal satisfaction and pleasure from playing and writing. Having somewhere to be heard, posting my music here on ezFolk, and finding there are people listening to it and enjoying it is great!
