Concertina & Banjo eh. I've been playing Anglo too, for 30 years now, but I just started teaching myself Frailing 6 weeks ago. It's going to be a long, hard struggle. I love your Banjo tracks here, especially Shady Grove ... I just never tire of hearing that tune. I must admit, I much prefer the slow, laid back style for OT tunes. Cheers, Dick |

Thank you so much for your comments Daniel. I'm currently listening to your concertina version of the Blackbird. You definitely have some different versions, although the second is familiar to me. You play so nicely though...great control, tempo and a thorough understanding of the music. I got my version of the Blackbird from the playing of Paddy Glackin...he plays it first as a slow air, and then at dance tempo. I'm glad you're playing An Phis Fluich again. Its a great tune, although I do get a bit embarrased when people ask me what it means. I just tell them that its a bit rude, and if they really want to know, to ask me in private.....The Boy in the Bush tho.... *lol* Thanks again Daniel and keep up the great playing. |
