Biography
Michael Fox is an old-time musician from Hickory, NC. He is the creator of the Dulcijo, which is a combination of the Appalachian lap dulcimer and a 5-string banjo. He also plays fiddle and clawhammer banjo. In 2003 he was the second runner-up in the clawhammer banjo competition at Fiddlers Grove in Union Grove, North Carolina.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! As a big Beatles fan, I really enjoyed "Hey Dude, There's a Beatle on the Hearth". I had a great time listening to your tunes, and wanted to say thanks for sharing. The "Mountain Whip poor whil"...now that'd be something to hear 'round a campfire! You've got some amazing pictures of spectacular fingerboards as well! Nice watching the dulijo videos! I just picked up a Banjo and I am 52 years old it's a G string and Boy is it hard..but I am willing to take forever I just love the sound people like you make from them.I will try and master it but I am all fingers and thumbs
