Homeward Bound

I was born in a Midwestern Storm
with Keroac and Guthrie cradlin'
my soul between the flappers and
the atomic age.
Carl's "Road Not Traveled" I took
unraveling the "Y" of "Gen X" with
Dylan and Rimbeau seating to my left
America my Mother and Father smiled and
asked that I nurture those I met.
My life grows younger as my children
grow older. My eyes grow wiser...
Home touches me as roots of the ancient
nautalis bound my heart bound for glory.
I am home !
