I play contemporary wire-strung (Celtic) harp in an improvisational style. Most of my recordings are Live. I play other instruments (like flute, Rhodes, piano and kalimba) but no-one seems interested in hiring me to play those anymore. Fans describe my music as mellow, contemplative, magic, and full of soul. They've messaged me to tell me what they do to it, and i'll just say they listen while meditating, doing yoga, during romantic encounters, or entertaining. One Astronomer says they listen whilst observing (which i thought was very cool). WARNING! Not suitable for listening while night driving.

I first got turned on to the harp back in my stuck-in-the-seventies days. I happened to be setting up for an orchestra when i heard "this sound" near me. I turned to see the Principal Harpist warming up.
I was mesmerised.  I'd never heard a real harp before.  The Harpist paused, and asked, 'are you alright?'  I stammered, 'oh... ah, yes, um, that's beautiful!'  Then she smiled, and said, 'it is, isn't it,' and went back to playing.; .
