This teenage singer-songwriter hailing from small-town Connecticut has an appropriately homespun sound, but one that's a little unusual- the result of years of listening to female singer-songwriters, bubblegum pop on the radio, and standards from the musical theater repetoire. While Jameson's imperfect but endearing voice might sound out of place singing carefully crafted pop melodies in any other context, it fits perfectly with his simple, almost child-like piano parts, creating a sound that is distinct, if a little incongruous.  Managing to sound wide-eyed and innocent one moment and wise beyond his years the next, Jameson sings about a range of subjects- including a plethora of failed relationships, sexual abuse, and a penchant for performing oral sex on emotionally unavailable men. Jameson delivers his clever, candid lyrics with a healthy sense of self-deprecation and a less healthy sense of codependency and is sure to never leave you wondering how he really feels.
