Howdy, Rosie...yep been in laminated wood business since 1959....we furnished the recreation building at U of Iowa next to the field house few years ago...There is a picture of it on my web page...As to making tables from scratch, I have to hand it to you and your husband. I made a "Burroughs Writing Table from a piece of walnut and used ky coffee tree and red elm limbs for the legs...will send you a picture of it via email...might be a song there? Pantherpo(Rosie)...my, oh my-- thanks so much for your recent visit and birthday remarks...I am pretty sure you are Jamey Darnald's sister and so you must or probably live in Iowa...( "Iowa" One of my favorite's of Jamey's)...I used to travel the great state of Iowa from the Quad Cities west to DesMoines and north and south. I think that Cedar Rapids is one of my favorite towns. I have a great uncle (Redding M. Garrison) buried there in Oak Hill Cemetery overlooking the city. Strength of the Bottle, and This Table must be those written by you; so you guys work good together. I wish I was fortunate enuf to have a sister like you to help me out...he is really lucky!...Thanks for your kind remarks on my "songs"...I am just trying to get some history down for my grandchildren...
