I grew up in a small town in mississippi. This town is known as
laurel. I come from a family of musicians. My grandfather Harold
B. Harrington taught guitar lessons during the depression. From
there he opened his own music shop which later turned into
mississippi music inc. My sister Paige plays classical piano. My father
Roy played bass guitar with famous mississippi delta blues artists and
also played guitar. These family members inspired me greatly to play
the type of music I play today. My musical style is derived from
early folk music to classical guitar with influences of previous
music that I have played. I played in a few punk and metal bands
in the early to late 90's. I believe living in an apartment in
a new city forced me to start playing a more mellow music. I feel
the music I play now is more of a challenge. My main goal is to
challenge myself which is sometimes good and sometimes bad. My
earlier acoustic writings are now somewhat boring to play for me.
If someone knows and requests an earlier song I will play it
with no questioning. My goal now is to finish up about three to
four albums of material that I have roughly recorded. I played
all instruments on my recordings. Drums,guitars,bass,banjo,flutes,
keys,vocals,as well as other percussion and samples. Hopefully
I will have at least an ep to put on the market for listeners to
enjoy.
