The May Music Circle happened on Friday, 16 May, 2008 at the Oro Valley Public Library. It ran from about 7:00PM to 9:30PM or so. |

We had 5 banjos, 4 fiddlers (including an amazing 9 year old fiddler!) and 2 guitars for the session. Several of the players were competent on more than one instrument. More than 34 tunes and a few songs were played and sung during the evening, which was enjoyed by all, including a few drop-by listeners. This recording, over 2 hours in length, will give you a sense of how our circle is structured (if you consider it a structure). This month did have a hammered dulcimer, and a visiting guitar player, so there should be something for almost everybody. Enjoy the evening! |
