Known for her inventive, textured and rhythmic keyboard style and a voice Bob Ludwig calls "unique and very pure", this singer/songwriter and Berklee grad has released two albums, "when I left loss" and "Love Flows Like the Blood of a River", featuring Eugene Friesen (cello) and Steve Wilkes (percussion). Both contain her unique combination of prose poems and song. Laura melds folk, classical, jazz and "the soul and lyrics of a true poet" (Indie-Music Reviews). About to release her third album, "Talon of the Blackwater", produced by Jay Hovnanian, features Michael Farquharson (MCA artist/Juno nominee), T Lavitz (Grammy nominee of the Dixie Dregs), Eugene Friesen (Grammy winning Paul Winter Consort), Alastair Moock, Bruce J. LeBlanc, Nick Falk and Marcelo Woloski (Maeve Gilchrist Group). Laura has played at major art festivals and venues around the country. She's opened for John Gorka, Cheryl Wheeler, Connie Kaldor, Dana Cooper, Brooks Williams and Lori McKenna.
