Biography

Sang trad. Welsh ballads as a small child with mother. Sang in school choirs, including a nationally aclaimed madrigal choir. Sang in an Ottis Reading cover band in Birminhgam for a few months during 1997, also busked the city centre before moving to Bangor in 1998. Worked briefly (and baddly) as an actor on an S4C drama series that same year. Volunteered a bit and walked the mountains a lot in the mean time. Started what became Drymbago in 2001 with fellow North Walian hill hippies. Started Palestinian collaboration Alternative Information after a visit to the region in 2005. Started own label Eilio in 2007. Became a mature student in 2003, enrolling on a degree course in Welsh Literature at Bangor University. Stayed on to complete MA at the Welsh dept. Currently studying a full time PhD in Welsh literature at same dept. Also working towards assesment for Mountain Leader qualification.
