Well I'm glad you were able to check out some of the songs. I'm still trying to work out some of the bugs with this recording program I have at home, to make the songs sound half way decent. And yes I know I've been having these unexcused truancies from the Gyspsy Den, but I'm going to try to make it this week. Don't quote me on that though.

G'day Dusty. Just to let you know I had the thumb accident round about 1982. Just about everything on my site has been recorded long after that date. Somewhere here at home I've got a tape with a selection of pre-thumb banjo and guitar tunes. Can't seem to find it but I know it's here in the detritus of my sordid past. PS Fiddlers' Green is coming right.

I like his songs but like them better when played by other musicians. Im really glad you like the arrangement of In Between, I really think we got luck with that song. Thanks again. I don't suppose you'd have the words and lyrics to the Lion's Cage song tucked away somewhere? It's a boomer! Where do you get them all?

Sing along as much as you like Smiffy. I should get you to play Banjo on a tune or two. We could trade Mp3 files. You lay out a track, I add a little, and then we could do a doit together. I spent last night ( Friday ) listening to, and downloading your music. My Chrissie didn't nag. I worried, briefly, and then realised she was listening to the music too. Eyes closed. Hypnotically good music. I remember beginning to pontificate to myself about getting things absolutely right and then you started singing. I can't be the only person to thank you for a fun-filled night? That was last night. And here I am again. I've listened to what we downloaded here last night: every bit as good as I remembered. Now I'm going in for a second helping of Dusty Leer. I'm looking forward to yodelling along with you. You are indeed a voice at the campfire. I can't help singing.
