For any fiddlers who are looking for a slightly more active fiddle site, cruise on over to:

Fiddle HangOut

and check it out. It's an outgrowth of the wildly popular Banjo HangOut.

Probably will be mostly dedicated to Old Time and Bluegrass fiddles, it has already drawn a nice response  from a lot of banjo-playing fiddlers (or is that fiddleing banjo-players?). It will soon grow into another important resource for those types of music & instruments.

Thanks Brad!  bookemarked it. It look like it has a lot of neat features and helpful info. I went to fiddlefork a few days ago and found a quite a few midi examples of the traditional music. It wil be very helpful aid in learning off the sheet music I got.

thanks again for the suggestion.

I'm on both, but if I had to choose one over the other, I'd go with the Hangout. More old time, more irish, more bluegrass, more activity.

Plus, there are constant free raffles (enter once a day) for neat fiddle stuff!
