I haven't practised nearly as much as I planned to, but recently I've felt things are coming back and improving. Today I'm home with my two year old, who has a fever but just like any two year old does not show it at all. When I decided to pick up the fiddle and practice Man of Constant Sorrow, in the manner of John Hartford's O' Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack contribution, I realised my son had fallen asleep while I was playing. Audiences that fall asleep normally isn't what you aim for, but this time I took it as a great compliment. To wake people up playing fiddle, now that's much easier.
