I've made on online guide to the harmonica holder or rack. It looks at which harmonica holder to get, how to set it up, and lessons with audio clips on playing harmonica and guitar together. Few people manage the harmonica holder well, perhaps because there is not much about on how to use it. Hopefully this will help. You can find the harmonica holder guide at http://www.harmonicatunes.com/harmonicaholder

Very nice job. I have been using a harmonica holder since the 60's, so nothing new for me but great for the beginner. Thanks for providing it.

Some good advice. I use Elton holders. I haven't seen them for years; maybe they don't make them any more, but they look like the Hohner holders in your picture. My problem with harp holders is that they seem to make the harp hit my mouth at an angle. Back in the early sixties I saw a picture of Jimmy Reed and it looked like he'd bent his holder so the harp was perpendicular to his mouth. I have doene this to all of my holders and now find it difficult to play on a straight harp holder. Yours looks like it was bent too. Did you bend it or did it come like that?

You point about the harmonica angle makes a lot of sense. I think that I may have bent mine as well.
