Hi all, great site Im new to music and recently got a Ukelele. Its not an expensive one but it will do to gain some practice and experience on. Ive found the guides on here very helpful but I am looking for a particular song that I would like to learn. Its by Lee Evans the comedian, he sings it at the end of his recent XL Tour 2005. Its called " three second memory " and I really like it so if anyone has the chords for it I would really appreciate it if you could post them on here. Many thanks.

Hello there,

I love this song as well and would love to know the chords as I have a band and we want to perform this in our gig later this year.

Also, if anyone has the .mp3 file and could send it to me my AIM address in Davidtatts and my AOL email is Davidtatts@aol.com

Thankyou

I like this song too, the way I play it is:

Intro: D - Dmaj7 (played xx0222) - D

Verse: D - F#m - G - A (the A in the second half of this bar is played x02221)

Chorus: D - D7 - G - F#m - G - F#m - A

The nice little ending he does at the end the song is the x02221 version of A, regular A and finish on D

Hope this helps

Ok the progression has in it A Maj normally following the relative minor F#.

When lee goes to this A Maj chord its best to play

A major, while adding the 6th note (F#) accordingly.

This A6 Chord isn’t critical, but it makes the progression sound a lot more modal.

If you wish just play a normal A Maj.

If anyone needs help understanding this mail me robhavok@hotmail.com

Also i thought that the 2nd chord may be Dmaj7 but going off the root note, i decided it was F#min.

This is pretty good to play along with though that extra 6th gives a great flavor.

If nothing else maybe it will inspire others to transcribe it better.

Chord Chart

-5----2----3---5----X

-7----2----3---5--- [7]

-7----2----4---6----6

-7----4----5---7----X

-5----4----5---7----7

-x----2----3---5----5
