I got a free EMT-500 clip-on tuner with the Uke I got from MGM.  It's fabulous.  It stayes on the headstock and calibrates according to vibrations, not sound, so I don't have to worry about the sounds around me when tuning my uke.  It 'collapses' on itself when you're done tuning so its rather inconspicuous.  Also, it has a bright green light and a needle that shows you when your note is right on.  It's about 20 dollars online.
