Holy sh*t!  A response!  I knew it would come from a certain  player, and that's you John.

Yeah, I got a camcorder for my birthday, and am figuring out how it works.  I'll tell you, it's like playing on stage for the first time with that thing looking at you.  I'm trying to get over my camera-shyness, so I'm doing this.  Is it working?

A SPECIAL thanks to you, John, for responding and actually watching the video.  If anyone was going to, I pretty much thought it would be you.   I had a bet with my wife, well, not a bet, but I said, "IF I get a response on EZfolk, I bet it'll be from John".  To which she replied "who's John?"

This is a weird site, I'll say that. :talk:  <-that's suppose to be a laughing emoticon.

Well, I do appreciate your efforts. I love some good pickin' whether it's uke or guitar. And playing for the camera does have its set of pressures, doesn't it?

Your new songs are inspiring me. I've been paying way too much attention to guitar. And I finally get to see a Gibby 3 played.

I'm fairly certain you may be the first on YouTube to be playing a Gibson Style 3. And it sounds so nice, too. There's that YouTube news story about the UK Ukulele club, and I think a guy in that maybe plays a couple of bars on a Gibson 3. But you're the first one at least to feature that uke only on some nice ltitle picking tunes.

Geez, dude! You just posted it yesterday, give a guy a chance.

I liked it. I'm actually doing a bit of fingerty-pickerty stuff lately, thanks in no small measure to Pete Howlett's YouTube tutorials.

In fact, as soon as the Fallen Angel buggers off to whatever the heck it is she's doing today (and I, therefore, have an empty -- and hopefully quiet -- house) I'm going to video a little rag I "composed" the other day.

I put the composed in quotes because really all I did was tart up a chord progression that Pete was doing in his demo of his new cherry wood uke.

I like your recent instrumental goodies, but don't forget to sing us one every now and then.

Thanks Hobbit.  You're right, you're right.   And I'll sing a few soon.  Blues good?

Leakydesk, thanks for lookin'.

John,  I've been neglecting my guitars.  I actually put them away de-tuned!  I think they'll be like that for awhile.  I do take them out of their cases every week to check the hygrometer and fill the humidifiers.

They look so lonely.

I don't know if you read my blog or not Neal, but I blogged this tune yesterday.

Hope it increased your views a little bit at least. If it didn't, the fact that Woodshed found it on my blog and stated he's going to put it on his ought to help.

Well played Neal. And I can see the "beauty parlor" correlation.

Hey guys, thanks! Been playing uke since '05-August. Guitar for many years, and Kottke, btw, is a hero of mine. I can not play like him, but some dusting of his influence may be heard by the discerning ear. I can't hear it, but I'm stoked someone did..... ;)

Mark, what part of WI?

West Bend, and did I see you're in Waukesha?  I used to live off of Bethesda Park. :)

I see Woodshed did feature you, Neal. Cool!

It do good things for your views? My latest one (for some dumb damn reason) is shooting up faster than any of my others.

I'm thinking I'll do another one tonight or tomorrow. People seem to be subscribing lately so I guess that puts the ball into my court, eh?

Yes, thank you Hobbit and Woodshed!

Go one HH, do another! You have a catalogue, I envy that.

Mark, West Bend ain't too far. IF you want to volunteer for the Milwaukee Ukefest in Sept, we're having another meeting on the 17th of December at Celito Lindo on 2nd and National at 6:30 Lil Rev started the blasted thing...
