Seems like some have NOT noticed that the default category on the music is accordion. Several songs are posted that have no hint of that instrument in them.

In fact, it sounds like rock. Is this now a rock site?

Sad! I thought I would be able to listen to accordion music all night. Looks like I'll have to wait for that ephemeral accordion in the sky.

(And I was worried that some real accordion players might come over and blow my efforts out of the water. Seriously, though, just like in ukedom, there is virtuosity in the accordion world.)

UF...

Your Accordion genre is now back intact. I moved the one song that should be in another category and all of the others was from a group that mistakenly posted their songs here. They thought it was a heavy metal website.

I'm amazed at how many of those groups post their music. That's 3 in the last 24 hours. Guess it just seems like an easy place to get away with anything. I'm getting good at banning IPs and email addresses from here.

Oh... I added a new genre called "aaa-PLEASE CHOOSE GENRE" so the songs would default to there (it's alphabetical). Now nothing should land in "Accordion" by mistake and I'll see it right away when somebody forgets to choose.

It's not just  my genre!

I honestly hope other accordionsters will come over and post their stuff. I have already put the invite to one board I found.

Accordion players are tougher to find than uke, banjo, guitar players. Wonder why?

Is the sound of the instrument prohibitive? :?

Thanks for fixin' stuff and policing the hooligans. :bluelight: (It looks more like a cop than a bright idea.)

Well it's all your until some other accordionsters show up (is that a word?). Good to hear you're trying to spread the word. Wish everybody would do that so I don't have to.

By the way, that's a good sound... the accordion and the uke together.

Who woulda thunk it.
