Here's my latest effort played on my old Goodwill bari (it needs a name:))

My old Ukulele

I am so in love with this old uke...it puts down some really nice blues bass. I'm not all that happy with the mixmanship of this recording, but what the heck, it's part of the journey:uke:

P.S. I tried to upload the song here but it said it's too high for lo-fi and to low for hi-fi:shrug:

Dean... it was recorded at 40 kbps, which does make it an in-betweener that can't be uploaded on ezFolk.

I got it from your site though and converted it to 24 kbps and now it's fine on LoFi but I couldn't convert it to HiFi. Here ya go...

My Old Ukulele

(It's at the bottom of your MP3 page. I'll let you do the description and all that.)

Great song 1four5!!! That bari has some sweet soul to her:dude: Also, I'd gladly trade you some "machine gun" strumming for some of your fingerpicking talents. Great song...great uke! As far as a name I'd try to work something off the fact that you got her from GoodWill...maybe something like Wilhemena:? I'm just thinking on the fly though.

Pete

Thank you guys!!!

You're crackin me up with the names...I love it, I'll have to choose one...Bargian Betty or BB sounds good...lets see Willing Wilimenia or WW sounds cool too:)

When I first layed down the E blues shuffle rhythm and listened to it back, I couldn't believe how deep and rich it sounded, even through my cheapo mic. This uke vibrates real deep when you play it, and some of that makes it to the recording. I'm trying to practice my strumming, but so far it's more like loading a musket:talk:...my brain has all kinds of ideas for mixing finger pickin with strummin...getting it to the hands is the challange.

BTW Tim, the walk down at the end is that relitive minor thingy that Tom showed us at work:cool:
