Hey Chris,

I updated the Cukes pages with the new date.

I'm not sure if we'll make it or not because it's the week before we're going to New York. I might not be able to fit it into the budget. I'd like to come though so we'll be there if we can work it out.

:hat:

MAN I wish I could make it to this (as an honorary member!)

We are still set on somewhere in N. Carolina. I heard about a job opening up at Western Carolina U in Cullowhee about the time I will be graduating. I'm keeping my sights set on it.

The only other areas we have seriously thought about are NE Pennsylvania and the Elkins, West Virginia area. But the basic Asheville area is most attractive.

Anyway, you guys have fun and remember Griffis!

Hey Griffis,

I hope you will settle in NC when you graduate. The Cukes meetings are a long haul from Cullowhee but it's do-able... at least it's all interstate.

Western Carolina is a great school and the area is beautiful. We're big WCU supporters at my house. My wife graduated from there and so did my son Joe. There's a page about Joe on the Western website...

Hope it works out!!

Thanks, Richard.  It was either 4/8 or 4/22, so I thought I'd take a chance and go with the 22nd.  If you can't make it we'll understand, but hope you can fit us in.  If not, I know you'll have a blast at the NY fest - take pictures if you can and maybe post for us.

Chris

Wow!  So many of you are really makin' a vacation of it!  I thought if I scheduled it a week before the fest it would work out.  Maybe we need to just wait until early May...

Anyone care to comment?

For us 'guests'...who cannot attend the CUKES meetings.  Out of curiousity, what happens besides playing ukes at the meetings?  Does the meetings have uke themes?  And how long does the meetings last?   BTW...I like Richard's uke.  Thanks, Honu
