State-wide Cukes gathering set for Saturday, 6/3, from 2:00-5:00PM, (note time change) at our usual location in Durham/RTP, NC at Westpark Corporate Center For directions go to: http://www.ezfolk.com/cukes/events/meeting/meeting.html Refer to the April music that was posted and bring a copy for yourself. If you went to the NY fest, please come and teach us what you learned and bring copies of info from workshops to share with us... * Also dinner afterwards at Sal's Italian. * and if you'll be joining us for dinner please let me know so I can know how many to reserve a table for...

Chris, If anyone is interested, there are 68 photos from the UkeFest that were kindly provided by Peter here: http://s55.photobucket.com/albums/g142/petershebib/ We had a great time! I took so many workshops that I've gotten some of them confused. I put all of the handouts into a notebook, but had trouble figuring which handouts went with which workshop (say that fast three times). I'll make copies and send them to you, or perhaps scan them and email them (send me a PM with your email and/or postal address), just in case I am unable to get to the meeting. Hope to see everyone on the 3rd. Joe

Dear Chris, I'll be there on June 3. I doubt that my wife Diane and I will go to dinner at Sal's because it's a kind of a long haul for her from Carrboro. I don't know what is meant by "music that was posted for April." If you tell me where to find it, I'll practice, though. Best, Tom Generous

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I had a great time yesterday afternoon. Considering that until yesterday I had only ever met one other uke player, yesterday was pretty amazing. I'll definitely be back, and I'll bring some songs for "show and tell." Hopefully in August if I can. Thanks again! Chris

Hey Chris (Jo Chem)... It was great to meet you as well as Tom Generous, and I hope both of you will make it back to the next meeting. It was a lot of fun playing the Beatles tunes. Chris (Cukes) is going to send me the mailing list and before the next meeting I'll make it a point to try to contact everybody. If everybody would show up at the same time we'd have quite a crowd.

Thanks Meeting Jake was pretty awesome. August is pretty book with me due to Orientation and whatnot, but hopefully I will have a free weekend. Looking forward to it.
