Chris,

If anyone is interested, there are 68 photos from the UkeFest that were kindly provided by Peter here:

http://s55.photobucket.com/albums/g142/petershebib/

We had a great time!  I took so many workshops that I've gotten some of them confused.  I put all of the handouts into a notebook, but had trouble figuring which handouts went with which workshop (say that fast three times).  I'll make copies and send them to you, or perhaps scan them and email them (send me a PM with your email and/or postal address), just in case I am unable to get to the meeting.

Hope to see everyone on the 3rd.

Joe   :uke:

Thanks for the link to those pictures, Joe!  Looks like a good time was had by all!

I sent you a private message with my e-mail and snail mail address - THANKS!

Really hope you can make this meeting, Joe, so we can hear more about it!

Chris

I will TRY to be there. We move June 2nd. I would hate not to have an opportunity to show off my new EZFolk tee shirt.

Dear Chris,

I'll be there on June 3. I doubt that my wife Diane and I will go to dinner at Sal's because it's a kind of a long haul for her from Carrboro.

I don't know what is meant by "music that was posted for April." If you tell me where to find it, I'll practice, though.

Best,
Tom Generous

Please look under the topic "Music for April Cukes" in this forum for a link to what we were going to use for music for the April Cukes gathering that was cancelled.

Looking forward to seeing everybody!

Has anybody heard from Kurt or Pete? I'm not sure either of them has been here for a while. Chris, I wasn't sure if you were sending out an email to everybody on the list or not. If not could you maybe email the people you haven't heard from??

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

I had a great time yesterday afternoon.  Considering that until yesterday I had only ever met one other uke player, yesterday was pretty amazing.

I'll definitely be back, and I'll bring some songs for "show and tell."  Hopefully in August if I can.

Thanks again!

Chris

Hey Chris (Jo Chem)... It was great to meet you as well as Tom Generous, and I hope both of you will make it back to the next meeting. It was a lot of fun playing the Beatles tunes.

Chris (Cukes) is going to send me the mailing list and before the next meeting I'll make it a point to try to contact everybody. If everybody would show up at the same time we'd have quite a crowd.

:hat:

Tom Generous emailed me today and asked me to pass this message along for him...

Dear Richard,

I'm not technologically advanced, so getting around the EZform site is not
something that's easy for me.  Maybe you can post this so the others can
read my gratitude.

It was a great time yesterday.  I hope everyone knows how much I appreci-
ate the patience I'm shown.  All of you are way ahead of where I am, and
my main goal is to learn from you.  I fear that I may have been too eager to
play and sing myself.  If I do get out of hand in the future, let me know, ok?

This morning I fooled around with the stuff that Chris Cukes sent us to
prepare for yesterday's meeting, and somehow I got it to come up.  Great,
only 24 hours too late.  I hope I can do so again next time on receipt.   In the
meantime I'll use these songs to work on the dozen or so unknown chords I
ran into yesterday.

            Best,
              Tom Generous

Hey Tom... you're not out of order at all. I enjoyed meeting you and hope I'll see you again at future meetings of the Cukes.

:uke:

We really missed you, Nate!  I wasn't sure if you were gone for the summer or not.

Will look forward to seeing you next time - hopefully it'll be around the first 2 weeks in August....

PS-Nice picture of you with Jake!
