Hi!

To those who have attended (and any who have not!) Mike & Pauls uke jam at High Strung Instruments in Durham, the store is headed to a new location (still in Durham) on July 1. They've been a huge supporter of our local uke community and carry ukes as well. Please try to come out to support them and contact them to sign up to perform at their party, if you like!! We will be opening up our new shop on July 1st with a big party.

We hope to have live music all day, as well as food treats and door prizes. We'll have the stage at the Broad Street Cafe (the adjoining business) for bands and a smaller, more intimate performance space on the High Strung side for customers and friends who want to perform that day.

All performers will get a great T-shirt and be enrolled in our loyalty club which will provide significant discounts on instruments

We will accomodate any and all musicians (beginners to professional) and this might be a good opportunity, if you have students, for them to play out in public.

Just contact us (e-mail is great) so we can put them on the schedule.

Fanstastic new digs!! I hope you guys get to check it out soon. They have an area dedicated to ukes with a little performance stage. It also opens into the Broad Street Cafe, (Broad & Club in Durham near the School of Science & Math) which has live music just about every night of the week.
