I've found some great tab for Folsom Prison Blues but it doesn't include the solo tab.  Anyone happen to have the tab or could ear it out for me?  I would be forever in your debt.  Here's a version of the song on YouTube  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Px82H9aifes

Thank you!

For what instrument? Your avatar shows you playing the uke. Not my instrument.

I know the Luther Perkins solo, or enough of it, but I learned from a serious picker forty years ago ( a great county musician named Pete Perkins, not blood to Luther). Luther was Mr. Cash's guitarist for decades. And I've heard that they were related. Not sure.

I can describe it but I don't have the software to transcribe it into guitar tablature.

It's in E-major, no capo. But the first measures will work in most guitar friendly keys.

Oh geez, I can't believe I forgot to mention that I'm looking for the tab for the UKE. Thanks for pointing that out!

Aw well... good luck. When you figure it out, you'll see it is far from rocket science.

Hi Dweebfire,
I have tabbed a solo for Folsom Prison. It's probably not note for note like the record, but it sounds OK to me. If you send me your email address, I'll send you a copy. I'm not sure how to post it here.

If you click on this, it should take you to the tab on my family's myspace page.

The squiggley line over a note means to bend it a bit.  The arrow up means bend the note up and the arrow down means release the bend.
