I'm releasing "Frailing The Blues: an introduction to country blues on the five-string banjo" under a Creative Commons license chapter-by-chapter over the next few weeks.

Chapter one is now on YouTube:

That was good Patrick. Looking forward to the harmonica part of the lesson.

Very nice, thanks for this. I'll be looking forward to more chapters--whatever you can manage.

Patrick,
Excellent work. I was waiting for you to cut loose and belt out a few more choruses. Long one of my favorites. Dave Van Ronk does a very credible version as well as the two classics you mentioned.

Enjoyed your father's tenor work as well.

Do you know someone named Peter Kahn?

Regards,
Phil
