Hi, I am a new(old)bee from Belgium, and so my language is usually Dutch, as you understand what I mean. So I give it a try.
I am looking for a used dulcijo, but, as I can’t find one I go for a new one.
(I don’t like new clean instruments). Are they available with a reel skin head, as my banjo’s,5 strings open back’s with gut strings one with a 1800 wood rim, the other one has a old sunken wood rim, and both real skin heads.

Thanks

romain

Hi Romain,

Used Dulcijos might be hard to come by for a while since they're new. We just started selling them a couple months ago and other than that there have been a few that Michael Fox sold to individuals in the past but I'd say they're pretty scarce as far as buying one from somebody.

The best thing to do would be talk to Michael Fox and see if he has any used ones that he might want to sell. You can contact him through his MP3 pages on ezFolk...

I purchased a Dulcijo a few weeks ago (serial#2) and like it and can play a few songs but I get severe pain in my hand because of arthritis. Im am quite disappointed that a physical ailment affects my playing the Dulcijo. If anyone is interested in purchasing I would be willing to sell at a reduced price. It is in perfect condition with extra strings and I still have the original box.

This is my first posting for EZ Folk. Hopefully this message can be put on the Dulcijo forum.

Ron

Hi Ron,

Sorry to hear that your arthritis is affecting your playing. It's fine for you to try to sell it here. I'm thinking you might do better by starting a new message thread in the Dulcijo section and maybe title it "Used Dulcijo For Sale" or something like that. I think you'll be able to sell it pretty easily. After it's sold just post a message that it's sold, and if you want me to I can remove that message thread.

Richard
