Hello,

I'm very interested in playing the Erhu, but no one in my area (Asheville, NC) has even heard of the Erhu. So, is it possible to learn online, I've found a few websites where Erhuists have tutorials on how to play such, and I've seen some instructional  VCD's with English subtitles. Is it to hard to learn with these online tutorials or with Dvd's, etc? Is it impossible to learn at home? Do I have to find a teacher? Can someone help me out here, Please. I would also like to know, where is the best website to get a beginners Erhu, I've looked at Eason.com, but is there a better place??

Any help would be great, Thankyou.
