I just about fell off my chair when I heard John's "Silent Night" as I wasn't expecting to hear a solid finger-style blues groove used for such a tune. But it works a treat. As do all the arrangements in fact, which deftly weave the traditional elements of the song with John's imaginative rhythmic and melodic excursions.
