Hi, Tricone John here.
I've taken the plunge and put some tracks up here on ezFolks.

My tracks are no masterpieces but these are my first attempts at recording so I am still at the bottom of that steep learning curve, hopefully the next batch will be much better. I've some original tracks in the pipeline. EzFolks is in my opinion ideal for acoustic players, easy going and friendly too. Don't want to get too electronic or wired up. I also have a chance to play whistle and recorder which I have neglected lately. No excuses now!

I found EzFolks via 1four5's comments (all good!) on another forum. Must say I love playing and listening to folk and blues, and am glad to be here. Thanks for reading this, best regards to all, Tricone John.

Hi John!

Welcome to ezFolk! I love this place, and it's the greatest collection of accepting musicians of every style and level you'll ever find. I'm at work, but hopefully I'll get a chance to check out your tracks soon...I have a lot of catching up to do anyways! We need more blues guys here:cool::cool::cool:. Oh and one more thing...look out for Banjo Brad...he is the cable sherriff, he don't like electric cables hanging out of instruments:shock::)...(Psssst...he don't realize my banjo is always plugged in lately....)...:P

Hi John,

Glad you found your way to ezFolk! Any friend of 1four5 is a friend of everybody here!

Something you might want to do is click on "My Account," which is at the top of most forum pages, and under your profile add the address of your ezFolk MP3 pages so people can get to it easily and listen to your songs.

:hat:

Thanks 1four5 and Richard H.
I've updated my profile to guide you poor people to my songs. Ha! Just tested it, it works. The link, not the songs.

Just found out last night how to record properly (so many buttons, so little time...) so better tracks will be coming shortly.
We have a cable sheriff? Wow, you guys are organised. TJ

Hi John,
Welcome. Has anyone informed you of the forum custom; new members have to throw a large pary for all current members lasting no less than three days and provide suitable lodging and performace venue. Or just send each member $300.

Your choice.

John, welcome.

I've only had a chance to listen to a couple of your postings, but I like the sound. You have a nice voice for the ballads, and the recorder work is very haunting.

Looking forward to a lot more.

Howdy, howdy, howdy.  Always room for one more, at least that's what Richard says.

Keep 'em coming. And remember that old adage: He who bloweth not his own horn; said horn goeth unblown.

Welcome to the campfire tunefest. :wave3:

Thanks folks! You've made me feel right at home.

PhilJ, you really would not enjoy getting drunk and staying up all day and night for three days, playing that kazoo and strumming that bar maid, so out of the goodness of my heart (can't you hear the fiddles playing?) I'm willing to forget about the $300 dollars and let you off lightly. OK?

Brad, I used to visit Tucson regularly on business. I'm a biologist so loved seeing the desert flora and fauna, especially those huge cacti. Not much desert here in Oxford UK. Had bagels at dawn in the hills overlooking the desert. Magical.

Blackman, I'm ablowin' ma horn, thanks for the welcome.

On a slightly more serious note I'm flying tomorrow from Heathrow to Germany, security checks will be tedious but necessary. I'll be out of contact for a couple of weeks. Wish me luck. No guitar for 2 weeks! Agghhh...
TJ
