Hello all - I have a new song that I'm trying out on you all (very rough version - excuse the whining dog...).  At the End of the Day.  I just wrote it after one of 'those days' that we all have once in a while.  Our lives seem to just get busier and busier, and sometimes it feels like there's no time for anything else.  I'm sure you've felt that way.

Anyway, look up at my player - third song down.  I have NO IDEA how to add the link for the song here or anywhere else...

Hello to friends old and new!

     I just realized with the new ezFolk that all my writings were gone and you had absolutely no communication from me.  How inconsiderate on my part! 

     I woke up today with a smile.  Spent last night and the past few days actually getting back into writing and have some new songs in the works.  And they might even be keepers!  Any of you who are songwriters most likely have what I have - files and notebooks and scraps of papers with half-written lyrics, great ideas that are only half-remembered, and whole sets of lyrics waiting for music, or whole pieces of music waiting for the right lyrics.  When there is a marriage of word and song, when the ideas coalesce into a whole, it's a time of celebration for me.  Not the champagne popping kind, but the smile on my face, little snoopy dance excitement.  I work long and hard on my songs, and sometimes struggle for months to get them 'just right'.  

     What you hear here on ezFolk are some works that are complete and recorded for posterity, and some that are still in the 'workshop' stage.  I'm working on my second CD, so the writing and workshoping is going strong right now.  Any comments or suggestions that are constructive and helpful are greatly appreciated.  

     And thank you, ezFolk, for not only giving me a place to share my music, but giving me a music community with which to share, and to hear absolutely fabulous music.  I've been with you almost since the beginning of my re-emergence into music, and you've been faithful friends ever since.  I'm with you all for the long run, even if you don't hear from me all that often.
