How Do I ... ? | |
|
Link a tune on my music page so it can be shown as an clickable mp3 file either here in the forums or on other pages I visit? I can't remember how we used to do this way back when, but I think it was possible even in this theme. Or will I need to post it on my PricklyPearMusic page and link from there? |

Brad... If I understand what you're saying, you're wanting the URL to play a single song in a popup window? If that's what you're looking for, try this... http://ezfolk.com/music/index.php?t=audio_player&mode=song_hifi&band_id=56&song_id=816 That should play Peek A Boo Waltz. If you want it for a different song change the song ID at the end of the link to whatever the number is of the song you want to play. For example, your song "The Fox" is #548. In this forum, if you want a hot link that can just be clicked on for the song to play use the BBCode URL inside brackets at the beginning and end of the link and remember that it's URL at the beginning and /URL at the end. If I try to add those brackets here it'll confuse the system so I won't do it, but I'll do it below so you can see the link... http://ezfolk.com/music/index.php?t=audio_player&mode=song_hifi&band_id=56&song_id=816 I enclosed this one in the URL BBCode but not the first one so this one should be clickable. |

Hi Jim... Nice to see you back! I just looked at your profile and your profile picture is showing up for me. If you're not seeing it I think it's because you're viewing a cached copy in your browser. Try Shift-Reload on that page and I think you'll see it. |

Re: How Do I ... ? | |
| Thanks, Richard, but we used to be able to provide a link that would just play the mp3, not the popup player. I'll fool around with the link and see which parts I might be able to take out to do what I want. | ||

I think this is what you're looking for, Brad: http://ezfolk.com/music/play.php?mode=song_hifi&band_id=56&song_id=816 For the lofi version, just change "song_hifi" to "song_lofi" |

Thanks for the input Tony! You know more about how these links work than I do so I appreciate you helping out when you can. |

I see that some have become fans of my music and I'd like to fan them back. How do I become a fan of someone? I don't see a button to click anywhere. Many thanks, Reg |

Re: How Do I ... ? | |
| Reggie... Go to the page of the person you want to be a fan (or friend) of, and click on the "Fans" tab, then at the bottom of the page where it says "Become a friend or fan" type something in the box then click on "Save" and you'll be fan. | ||
