The Cliff Edwards (Ukulele Ike) hit from 1928, recorded here in the key of C so the chords are pretty easy to play. I mixed up some strumming and fingerpicking along the way. You can strum or pick according to what sounds good to you.

House of the Rising Sun for Ukulele – Chords and Lyrics – Key of Dm – Fingerstyle
A little bit different take on House of the Rising Sun than usually played by uke players. I chose the key of Dm (instead of commonly heard Am) and played “Travis Picking” style with alternating thumb in 4/4 time. If you need help with the fingerpicking pattern I’m basically just playing the #1 pattern in my fingerstyle tutorial.
