The videos below will provide extra help to get you started with clawhammer. Of course, it is essential that you have your ukulele in tune, so I’m including the tuning video. Then, you need to be familiar with reading tablature. It’s a lot easier than reading music, and you should be able to understand it after you watch the “How to Read Ukulele Tablature” video. Then, the song “When the Saints Go Marching In” goes step-by-step through the clawhammer tablature, and you can also print out the tab. Finally, “Railroad Bill” is a good song to learn as a second song.
