This was one of a handful of MP3 recordings (audio only) I did back in the early 2000s, before the days of YouTube, so my apologies for the different format. It’s a good song, though, and I don’t want to record it again so here it is. I just played straight Travis Picking accompaniment with no lead parts, and I included a tablature showing measure-by-measure exactly how I played it. It’s a good example of all of the 4/4 time songs that I play in this style and it might be helpful if you’re trying to learn this fingerpicking technique. The biggest thing to remember in Travis Picking is that your thumb constantly rotates between the 4th string and the 3rd string on the beat (1-2-3-4).
