The following examples show different strums you can use in 4/4 time. It’s unnecessary to memorize them, but you might want to try using some of them in different songs you’re learning. On the “Strum-Along” songs you’ll find on ezFolk, I might use a single strum throughout a song or play a combination using more than one strum. Then again, depending on the song, I might use a different variation that is not written below. Songs can be played in various ways, so feel free to experiment with what sounds good.
